De route is als volgt:
DAG 1 Georgetown, boottocht.
Vroege ochtend pick-up van het hotel (6 uur).
Rit naar Banjul, ferry overtocht naar de North Bank.
Ontbijt.
Stop bij riviertje in Berending.
Drink-pauze bij de Kerewan-brug.
Volgens de lokale folklore was er een draak in deze kreek en niemand durfde te zwemmen of een brug te bouwen. Tussen 1998 en 2000 bouwde de voormalige president echter een brug. Deze werd in 2001 geopend.
Lunch in het toprestaurant Kauren Hill met uitzicht op de Gambia-rivier.
Boottocht in de rivier Gambia, Bavianeneiland.
Diner en overnachting in Georgetown.
DAG 2 Aim (Bansang, Basse, Wellingara en Tambacounda).
Ontbijt en bespreken van de dag.
Rondleiding door Janjanbureh, bezoek aan het Kangkurang-museum.
De kanonnen op het eiland zijn daar in 1812 gebracht om de slavernij in verschillende delen van Gambia te helpen stoppen.
Bezoek aan de oudste katholieke kerk in Afrika bezuiden de Sahara, die werd gebouwd in 1824.
Vertrek vanuit Janjanbureh, voor een rondleiding door Bansang, met het prachtige uitzicht op de heuvels net boven de Gambia-rivier.
Een theepauze in een lodge aan de oever van de rivier na een rondleiding over de Bansang-markt.
Vertrek naar Basse (de grootste commerciële upcountry town).
Paspoortcontrole en stempel bij de immigratie om Senegal binnen te komen.
Lunch in Tambacounda.
Diverse stops wanneer we verder rijden naar Wassadu Eco Lodge Camp.
Vertrek naar de wildernis van Afrika, de grote Niokolokoba die iets minder dan 1 miljoen hectare groot is, en gelegen in de Sudano-Guinese zone.
Overnachting in Kamp Wassadu.
DAG 3 Hoogtepunt van de tour. Niokolokoba Safari en watervallen in Dinde Ferlo
Ontbijt en bespreken van de dag.
Maak je klaar voor de dag terwijl we de natuursafari van Niokolokoba en het prachtige forest-landschap verkennen.
Jeepsafari.
Uitgebreide Safari in het park om dieren zoals leeuwen, luipaarden, olifanten, krokodillen, chimpansees, bavianen, nijlpaarden, reuzen-elandantilopen in hun natuurlijke habitat en een groot aantal meer dan 350 soorten vogels te spotten. Niokolokoba heeft ook belangrijke waterwegen, en het is gelegen aan de oevers van de Gambia rivier die ontspringt in Guinee in de Fouta Jallon Highlands.
Lunch in het park, Heb je het warm? Het is tijd om naar de Dinde ferlo-watervallen te gaan om af te koelen. Kijk hoe de lokale bevolking hun kleren komt wassen terwijl de natuur het water naar beneden in de klif duwt.
Terug naar kamp Wassadu voor de nacht, en stops in de Basari-gemeenschapsdorpen. De Basari is een verdwijnende etnische groep in zowel Senegal als Gambia. In Gambia zijn ze serieus geassimileerd door de grotere etnische groepen.
DAG 4 - Hoogtepunten - Zuid-Senegal

Vertrek naar de door Fulani gedomineerde regio Kolda,
Thee en koffie pauzes tussen de lokale dorpen op de lange rit naar Kolda en Sedhiou
overnachting in Sejo.
DAG 5 - Casamance.
Ontbijt en bespreken van de dag.
Vertrek naar Mplomp en bezoek interessante plaatsen en bezoek het van klei gemaakte Storey-gebouw,
Aankomst op Capskiring.
Bezoek vissersdorpjes en Capskiring.

DAG 6 - Capskiren
Ontbijt en bespreken van de dag.
Vertrek vanaf Capskiring,
Stop bij Zigunchorr, passeer Binjona, Diouloulu op weg naar Kafountine
Lunch in het Franse restaurant van Cafe Coleur
Boottocht naar Pelican Island.
Terug de grens over naar Gambia.

Drink break at the Kerewan bridge (local folklore tells that there was a dragon in this creek and no one dares attempt to swim or built a bridge. However between 1998 to 2000 the former President built a bridge and was opened in 2001.
Lunch at Kauren Hill top restaurant, overlooking the Gambia river.
Boat trip in the river Gambia Baboon Island.
Dinner and overnight in Georgetown.
DAY 2 Aim( Bansang,Basse,Wellingara and Tambacounda)
Breakfast and introduction to the day's activity's.
Tour of Janjanbureh.
Visit to the Kangkurang museum. The canons on the Island that were brought there in 1812 to help stop slavery in various parts of Gambia.
Visit also to the oldest Catholic church in sub saharan Africa which was built in 1824.
Depart from Janjanbureh, a tour of Bansang with the beautiful hilltop-views just above the Gambia river and a tea-break in a lodge set on the river bank after a tour of the Bansang market.
Drive onwards to drive to Basse (the biggest commercial upcountry town).
Passport control and stamp at the immigration to enter Senegal.
Lunch in Tambacounda.village stops as we drive along onwards to Wassadu Eco lodge Camp, which is situated just a little more drive (20min - 25mins) to the wilderness of Africa, the great Niokolokoba which measures a little below 1 million hectares, also located in the Sudano-Guinean zone.
Overnight in Camp Wassadu.
DAY 3 (Aim - HIGHLIGHTS OF THE TOUR,NIOKOLOKOBA SAFARI, WATER FALLS IN DINDE FERLO).
Breakfast and Introduction to the days activity.
Get ready for the day as we explore Niokolokoba wildlife safari and beautiful forest scenery.
Jeep safari.
5 To 6 hours extensive game drive in the park in a bit to spot animals such as Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Crocodiles, Chimpanzees, Baboons, Hippos, Giant eland antelopes in their natural habitats and a host of over 350 species of birds.
Niokolokoba also has major water ways and its situated on te banks of the Gambia river which has its source in Guinea in the the Fouta Jallon Highlands.
Lunch in the park, Feeling hot? Well its time to go to the Dinde Ferlo waterfalls to cool down. Watch the locals come wash their clothes whilst nature is pushing the water downwards in the cliff.
Back to camp Wassadu for overnight but stopping within the Basari community villages. The Basari is a disappearing ethnic group in both Senegal and Gambia. Please see them before they go. In Gambia they have been seriously assimilated by the larger ethnic groups.
