HIDDEN GAMBIA 2 DAGEN (NIEW)
Dit is een all-inclusive tweedaagse tour die je in direct contact brengt met de lokale bevolking, markten, natuur, dieren in het wild, vogels, wetlands enz
DAG 1
Ophalen is rond 7 uur (onder voorbehoud) rijden op de South Bank Road en de eerste stop is bij de Brikama open veemarkt en de groentemarkt waar je de kans krijgt om te zien hoe lokale vrouwen hun groenten van de vorige avond brengen oogst naar de markt.
We stoppen voor het ontbijt in de prachtige Abcas Creek Lodge en rijden op de uitgestrekte provinciale trans-gambia snelweg naar de stad Soma.
We zullen dan doorgaan naar Kudang waar we zullen overnachten.
Het zal geen slecht idee zijn om een snelle duik in het zwembad te nemen om af te koelen.
Na inchecken en lunch gaan we dan op weg naar de bush-trektocht om bavianen, vogels en nijlpaarden te spotten.
Een boottocht naar het Baboon-eiland volgt om chimpansees te spotten.
Overnachting in Kakuba hotel (wifi beschikbaar om verbinding te maken met familie en geliefden)
DAG 2
Ontbijt en kennismaking met de activiteiten van de dag.
We zullen ook een bezoek brengen bij een lokale familie om te ervaren hoe het leven op het platteland van Gambia is.
Dan trekken we door het moerasland en brengen een bezoek aan de heuvels met uitzicht op de Gambia-rivier, misschien wel het hoogste punt in Gambia.
We zullen ook de kleine vissersgemeenschap off-road bezoeken.
We gaan verder met de reis terug naar het hotel en af en toe een stop voor koffiepauzes en lunch.
TOURTIPS.
Houd er rekening mee dat we meer kans hebben om nijlpaarden, krokodillen en pelikanen te spotten als het tij laag is.
Daarom kan het reisschema/schema van de boottocht enigszins veranderen (avond/ochtend), afhankelijk van het getijdensysteem, om maximale tevredenheid over de reis te verkrijgen.
Er zijn minimaal vier personen nodig voor deze excursie.

DAY 1
This is an all-inclusive 2 day tour which brings you into direct contact with the local people,markets, nature, wildlife,birds, wetlands etc
Pick up is arround 7am(subject to change) drive on the South bank road and first stop is at the Brikama open live- stock market and the vegetable market where you will have the opportunity to see an interact with local women bringing their previous evening vegetables harvest to the market.
We will stop for breakfast at the beautiful Abcas creek lodge then depart; pass by the sprawling provincial trans-gambia highway way town of Soma.we will then proceed to kudang where will be lodging for the night.
It wunt be a bad idea to have a quick dive in the swimming pool to cool off. After checking in and lunch. We will then head to do the bush trek to spot Baboons, birds and hippos.A boat trip to Baboon island will follow to spot chimpanzees.

DAY 2
Breakfast and introduction to the day's activities.
We will also do a community visit to experience the local family set up in rural Gambia.
Wetland trekking, and visit the hills overlooking the Gambia river, perhaps the highest point in Gambia.
We will also visit the small fishing community off road.
Then proceed to the journey back to the hotel, stopping intermittently for coffee breaks and lunch.

Please note that we are more likely to spot hippos and Crocodiles and Pelicans when the tide is low.
That's why to acquire maximum tour satisfaction the itinerary/schedule of boat trip may slightly change(evening/morning) depending on the tidal system.
